As Gapsan, we participated in the 10-14 February 2020 premier vision sport wear fair. Premier vision fairs are one of the most comprehensive fairs on textiles.
This year the fair took place in Portland. Portland is the largest city of the US state of Oregon, Moltnamah county. If you say why it was organized here, the headquarters of the biggest ready-made clothing brands of America founding here. The Portland metro area has become a business cluster for athletic / outdoor gear and footwear manufacturers.
While headquartered elsewhere, Merrell, Amer Sports and Under Armor have design studios and local offices in the Portland area. Portland-based Precision Castparts is one of two Fortune 500 companies headquartered in Oregon, the other being Nike. Among the big companies, Portland is so popular that tax exemption provided to companies.
As Gapsan Yarn, we successfully represented our company and our country. visitirs loved Our “silver yarns”, which have various health benefits, “wool-blended yarns” especially suitable for keeping winter skiers warm and our “flame retardant yarns”, which are attracted attention.
Our new yarns for 2020 attracted the attention of designers, and many participants from Los Angles examined and took samples of our nopple and injectable fabrics, made especially from the colors of this year, Pantone blue and magenta.
As a new industry, our socks shoes are appreciated by several design studios that design for Nike. samples were requested.
The Premier Vision fair was even though it did not keep the desired density due to the corono virus, we have meet new persons and we established new relationship with new companies.
